At the Park and Zoo we do all we can to ensure the lives of the animals here are full and enriched. This means enhancing the animal's environment by providing opportunities that stimulate natural behaviour and natural instincts. Some devices may encourage foraging behaviours while others are strictly for play and exercise. Enrichment is just as important as good nutrition and medical care.

Enrichment devices can be as simple as a hidden treat bag, puzzle ball or suet feeder. It can also mean a hay feeder, barrel or more one-on-one training time with the zookeeper. Help support our effort by donating to our wish list!
