Reptiles and Amphibians

Reptiles are ectothermic or cold-blooded, they also have a backbone, which means they are vertebrates.  Most reptiles lay hard-shelled eggs, but a few give birth to live young.

Amphibians have endoskeleton that is made mostly of bone. Their skin is smooth with many capillaries and pigments, no scales.  They usually have two pairs of limbs with webbed feet.

We are home to a variety of reptile species.
