Memorial Benches

Memorial benches provide a beautiful and substantial dedication in the park.  Benches become a part of the landscape offering rest and support to members and visitors.  For your donation, a dedication plaque is placed on the bench to commemorate your loved one and their love of nature and wildlife.

The cost of installing a dedicated bench on park and zoo property is now $2,500 with this cost subject to change at any time. Riverview Park and Zoo will be the owner of the bench that is dedicated in your honor. A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the total bench fee amount, which covers both the cost of the bench installation and dedication plate.

Available locations

Note that benches are limited to designated areas only and prearranged with the Program Supervisor for site approval.   Only a select number of benches are installed each season throughout the park. *Our memorial park bench program for 2022 is now fully booked.*

Additional dedications

Please note that we also have a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available for our new train ride passenger coaches, with dedication plates set into each seat compartment of the new miniature train.  These bench dedications cost $2,500 and would be a wonderful way to honor your loved one for years to come.

Accessible Picnic Tables

Help Riverview Park and Zoo be more inclusive for all our guests.  Perfect for wheelchairs, motorized mobility vehicles, walkers and strollers, accessible picnic tables throughout the grounds will help us reach our goal to be even more accessible to everyone.
