Barbecue Ban In Effect

AUGUST 2025 - Effective immediately, a barbecue ban is now in effect at Riverview Park and Zoo. The use of barbecues will not be permitted anywhere on the grounds, including the picnic shelters, until further notice. This is a precautionary measure to help keep everyone safe, including the zoo animals, given the extremely dry conditions we've been experiencing this summer.

We also wish to remind guests that smoking and vaping is not permitted at Riverview Park and Zoo.
