Zoo Trek & Zoo Academy

Connecting people to conservation through education

Our education programs have been developed to help students make life-long connections to nature and to start making choices that support conservation of wildlife and the environment.

Zoo Trek

Offered in the spring and fall, this is a curriculum-based program that runs for two hours. The Zoo Trek includes a short in-class program with an animal encounter followed by a guided tour with a trained zoo educator.

Sessions have been developed by grade to support relevant units of the Ontario curriculum, geared toward Grades 1 through 4.

Cost is $7.50 per child and can host up to 50 people, including teachers and accompanying chaperones.
