Check out this summer’s lineup:

Four piece roots rock and roll band playing an electric mix of classic hits from the 60’s-70’s and beyond with a bit of blues, country, and a few originals.

Elizabeth Piotrowski, singer, guitarist and percussionist, is a 10-year Sweet Adelines choir and quartet member who started out as a stage fright-bound fan of the band. Dave Vandendort, a self-admitted guitar addict, has been with the band since 2004. His style echoes the sounds encountered on many trips through The South. Martin Vanzandwyk, bassist for the band, also a charter member, holds high rank as our jam spot provider. Bob Holodinsky, having played in many previous bands, is the engine that drives the train.

The Donny Woods Band plays because we love to; making music together is our way of rising above life’s pressures. We are inspired by the unique music scene in our area and are lovers of many musical genres. A community minded group with a mission, we play to share our passion for the music with our audience.

FYD L STYX was formed in 2005 by the late Sally Pirie. Sally had many students and musical friends that had nowhere to perform the music they had learned. To join the band, you only have to have a love of fiddle music and a sense of humour. There is no interview or audition.

FYD L STYX practices every Tuesday from September to June at St James United Church and they perform several concerts a year at Douro’s Irish Celebration, Riverview Zoo, Lock 31 at Buckhorn, St James Church and several smaller venues.

Hear the Classics! Pop, Rock, County, R&B, Blues and Retro Oldies brought to you by Wylie Harold on guitar, harmonica and vocals, John Climenhage on drums and vocals, and Richard Simpkins on bass and vocals.

The Peterborough Concert Band is a 40+ piece performing ensemble of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments played by talented local musicians of all ages. The Band is a Peterborough institution, having been in continuous operation (under various names) for nearly 170 years. Today, the Band entertains audiences with a varied repertoire of popular contemporary music, show tunes, traditional marches, and classical gems at community events, retirement residences, churches, schools, and parks. We support the local music scene by bringing live, high quality concert band music to people of all ages and walks of life, including many who might never have experienced it before.

Please come out to a performance this summer and let us share our love of music with you! Find out more at: www.peterboroughconcertband.ca.

Jazz Junction formed in the autumn of 2024. The individual members have played and sung in various stage bands and combos in the Peterborough area for years, even decades. Jazz Junction provides us with the opportunity to play in a small ensemble setting with plenty of room for improvisation. Jazz Junction's repertoire consists mainly of jazz standards. We play blues, bossas, ballads, and the occasional rock or bebop tune.

Members: Bruce Bain, guitar and vocals; Gene Jochen: drums; Jan Laurie, keyboard and vocals; Andrew Olscher: trombone and vocals; Mark Paton: bass guitar; Patricia Remy, trumpet and flugelhorn.

Experience the thrilling sound of Electric City Swing Band (EC Swing), an 18-piece big band based in Peterborough blending fresh and classic Swing charts with sizzling Latin tunes, high-energy rock arrangements, and crowd-pleasing pop and modern songs. Featuring impressive soloists with bold brass, sales and a top-notch rhythm section all presented with irresistible showmanship.

Lizeh is a singer-songwriter based out of Peterborough, Ontario. She performs all around the local music scene, including venues like Showplace, Market Hall, The Venue, Music fest and various local pubs. Her style blends country and jazz influences, with a love for classic, timeless music. She performs both original songs and covers, bringing her own unique style to each performance.
