Hours of Operation
The Park and Zoo is open 365 days a year from 8:30 a.m. until dusk.
Winter Season - Thanksgiving Day to Victoria Day
- Park grounds and zoo area are open from 8:30 a.m. to dusk.
- Office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Gift Shop/Guest Services is closed
- Hatch Coffee Shop is open most weekends, and closed Monday to Friday
- Miniature Train Ride is closed
- Conservation Exhibit in the Dobbin Building is closed
- Splash pad is closed
Summer Season - Victoria Day to Labour Day
- Park grounds and zoo area are open from 8:30 a.m. to dusk
- Office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Guest Services / Gift Shop is open daily, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Miniature Train Ride is open daily, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Last train leaves the station at 5:45 p.m. weather and maintenance permitting
- Splash pad is open daily, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weather and maintenance permitting
- Conservation Exhibit in the Dobbin Building is open July through to the Labour Day weekend, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends
Fall Season - Labour Day to Thanksgiving Day
- Park grounds and zoo area are open from 8:30 a.m. to dusk
- Office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Gift Shop/Guest Services is open Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Monday to Friday
- Hatch Coffee Shop is open Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Closed Monday to Friday
- Miniature Train Ride is closed
- Conservation Exhibit in the Dobbin Building is closed for the season
- Splash pad is closed
