Invasive Species Workshops at Riverview Park and Zoo - Coming Soon!

Riverview Park and Zoo's invasive species workshop invites classrooms, volunteers and community groups to first identify invasive species, like the Dog Strangling Vine, on Park and Zoo grounds. We will hear from experts to understand and utilize provincial reporting tools. Advanced workshops will include inventory and removal of invasive plant species.

Events Calendar

The goal of this program will be to host a volunteer team who can help to safely and sustainably remove them. Participants in this series will become advocates to help mitigate problems and create solutions.
